When two thirtysomething besties stumble into the music tour of their dreams, they’re forced to face the one thing they’ve always avoided: reality—and it’s life or death.
Told in non-linear flashbacks with a genre-bending style and comedic antics that channel The Big Lebowski, Poker Face, and Better Call Saul, Queens of Noise is a comedy-drama about fear, friendship, and the messy, middle-aged pursuit of a long-delayed dream. Fueled by loud riffs, bad decisions, and Riot Grrl Energy™, this short film is for every aging rocker who still believes their big break might just be one wrong turn away.
We’re seeking experienced actors for Queens of Noise, shooting in Colorado this July–August. The project explores themes of friendship, fear, and following your long-delayed dreams—with a sharp comedic edge.

Jeff is a Colorado-based filmmaker, Arkansas-raised creative, and lifelong visual storyteller who cut his teeth in the world of advertising. With over two decades of experience on film sets, leading editorial teams, and producing narrative-driven content for brands like 3M, Verizon, TLC and The University of Colorado, Jeff brings both technical precision and a deep love for the craft to every project he touches. He’s especially drawn to the collaborative chaos of filmmaking—the kind that transforms raw footage and sharp instincts into something that moves people.
A longtime guitarist, Jeff approaches film the same way he approaches music: with timing, texture, and a deep respect for harmony—on and off set.
Whether behind the camera or in the edit bay, Jeff’s mission is simple: tell stories that connect, recharge, and maybe even change something. Queens of Noise marks his first co-writing and co-directing collaboration with Camille—proof that good things happen when the right dreamers (and bandmates) team up.
Camille is a Colorado-based writer, director, and actor who specializes in crafting stories about fearless, funny women rewriting their lives—sometimes on stage, sometimes on screen, and sometimes in a Google Doc at 2 a.m. A creative force with a background in fiction, journalism, screenwriting, and performance, her work blends fast-paced humor and sharp insight with emotional depth. She’s the author of Jupiter Returns, a romcom-meets-cosmic-self-discovery novel, and has written for both print and digital publications, including the Colorado Springs Independent and Denver’s 303 Magazine.
As a sometimes-comedian and astrology personality, Camille brings her humor to life on camera, on stage, and in snappy, offbeat reels across social media. Also a lifelong musician and multi-instrumentalist, Camille channels her love of music, rhythm, and riot grrrl energy into Queens of Noise, a film that doubles as a love letter to the loud, messy pursuit of creative dreams. And she cannot be more excited to make this film alongside her (DP) parter Jeff.
